Matchy matchy!

Met up with C.N. yesterday and had a nice little catch-up! She did some shopping around the city and also picked up an Entwined Bracelet!  We customized the colour combo of the bracelet just for her and then it turned out to match her new Orla Kiely bag perfectly!

Yesterday was a beautiful day... today, not so much.  Hope the rain goes away!  Have a happy weekend!

Delightful towels

I am working way late, as usual. I learned last week at the Mode Show, that several other designers tend to work late into the night like I do, so now I don't feel so odd! I just randomly went to check out the Orla Kiely website and found these cheery towels. I am always on the lookout for patterned towels. Reminds me of being wrapped in the 70's versions of childhood. Anyhow, I think it'd be nice to mix and match these colours in the different sizes. They are on sale! I just tried to order some, but it kept saying that my basket was empty. I'll have to try again in the morning.

Belated birthday gift to my sister

It's almost 3 weeks after her birthday, but I finally gave my sister her gift today. I had an assortment of goodies in a bag, but also gave her this Orla Kiely for Target mug that I got on a cross-border excursion in Buffalo a few weeks back. A., S. and I all gasped and got excited when we rounded an aisle to find a nice little shelf full of fun Orla Kiely drinkware, dinnerware and serveware. We debated a whole lot, but in the end only this mug came home with us. We all really liked these cannisters though...
And, I hemmed and hahhed about getting this 2-tier tray to use as a jewellery display. In the end I decided it was too colourful for a display item, but boy is it cu-ute!
