Corsage Project Boutique Ball 2015

So happy to be able to donate some jewellery to The Corsage Project this year!  They help girls in the greater Toronto area who are having difficulty affording the expenses associated with attending their prom.  Prom is a rite of passage that every willing teen should get to enjoy!

Every year the Corsage Project has a team of stylists to help the girls "shop" the free formal wear that has been donated!  So pleased to add some MoonRox to that selection.  We donated these pretty floral earrings and much more!

Give and take

It's Friday the 13th!  I have been bordering on manic this week!  I've had to remind myself of what day it is more than once this week.  Such a frenzied week.  The Easter weekend feels like it was about a month ago.  Did so much running around and made a fair number of baubles in recent days!  Many were wrapped up in cute little MoonRox boxes!  Finished off a long check-list of custom orders and made a special necklace for my Sister.  Seems I have worked late into the night far too many times over the past few months.  I admit that I do not specialize in time management... so it is partly my own doing!  In the weeks ahead I'm hoping for some downtime to work on things that get neglected.  A top priority is the website.  Also, I feel the itch to take a vacation!

Yesterday I dropped off a pretty darned big selection of jewels to The Corsage Project.  Such a great cause.  The Corsage Project helps economically disadvantaged high school students attend their prom by providing free formal-wear.  I remember how excited we got for our formals at our school.  These events are a huge part of the growing up process and I'm happy to provide a little something to help someone enjoy a memorable day.  Visit their website if you'd like to lend a hand in some way too!

Friday's musings

It's Friday and I am exhausted. Stayed up wayyyy tooo late and got up too early, but it was for a good cause. Here are my random thoughts of the day:

- Digging these earrings. Find them in the Shop.

- The MoonRox fundraiser to support the victims of the disaster in Japan will end on April 11th, 2011. Keep shopping and helping!

- Going to make a big donation to The Corsage Project today. So excited to be a part of this... Hope the event is a huge success!

- Will have some new arrivals at boutiques to update you on soon. Here is the list of stockists as of now.

- Love the gorgeous colours of these tulip fields seen on Lemmemakeit. Can't wait for Spring blooms to pop here.

- Might be lining up with A. and S. for these.

- Ordered some of these to tame the tresses. Waiting for them to arrive in the mail!

- Like some of the D.I.Y. ideas seen on the Ikea blog.

- Plan to recover the parents' vintage teak chairs for my dining set.

- Need to sew some Summer dresses.

- Think I may bust out the old paints and put them to canvas.

- Looking forward to seeing Mrs. B. and the hubby next week.

- Need some chicken wings and beer! (Though not at this hour... )

So tired, I can't think of what else I meant to say... need a nap!
