Winter 2015 (so far...)

This Winter has so far been filled with keeping warm, visits up north, snow days, icy weather, dotted manis by 8 year olds, making jewels, collaborations, photo shoots, supply shopping, studio sales, food and drink, art, city walks, sporting events, powerful stones and birthday parties.  Still a few more weeks of Winter to go.  Goodbye February. Hello March!

eBay Mother's Day Collective: Radiant Necklace

 

 

This is the Radiant Necklace, the third part of our eBay Mother's Day Collective with Anu Raina.  It's a fun piece that is cheery and elegant and perfect to brighten up your day!  

This necklace makes me think of Spring vacations when it's not quite warm in Toronto, and you can escape to a beach on a tropical island.  I used to visit my friend in Bermuda annually, and I could spend hours standing in the clear waters staring out at the horizon, marveling at the perfect shade of turquoise water meeting the clear sky.  Something about the colours used in this necklace can bring right back there!

The #eBay4Mom Collection is now live! Happy Shopping!

Today has been a super exciting day!  Our special seven piece exclusive Mother's Day Collective has gone live on eBay Canada!  The Collection includes four MoonRox pieces and three Anu Raina scarves.  In our last blog post, we shared some of the pieces.  Today we are showing off a couple more!

Anu Raina's Blue Donut Scarf is an original illustration inspired by her son who just looooves donuts!  Adore this sweet (pun intended) story and the vibrant hues of this scarf! 

From the Blue Donut Scarf, we pulled the amazing turquoise colour and created this sparkling pair of earrings. The Twinkle Radiant Earrings are inspired my my own Mom and her love of bright colours.  And she never ever leaves home without earrings!  These are made with a frosted turquoise acrylic bead that is almost day glow and super shiny rhinestone crystal balls.  Earrings are lever-back for a little extra security!

The eBay Mother's Day Collective is coming soon!  On April 14th, you'll be able to get your hands on our exclusive collection for eBay Canada.  Along with Anu Raina, we've put together a group of fresh pieces just in time for Mother's Day. For $75 or less, you can grab a Canadian designed and made gift! These designs are great for a mom in your life, but would suit any woman that loves accessories!  The collection will be available in limited numbers and for a limited time only. You can shop starting at 11am on Monday April 14th and ending on Mother's Day on May 11th.  Shipping in Canada will be free!

First we have the MoonRox Luminous Bracelet and Anu Raina Hugs & Kisses Scarf.

The Luminous Bracelet was inspired by my Sister, a mom of a young babe. Those that know her always joke that she only wears black and grey, so I stuck with the neutrals with this design.  The bracelet is elegant and rugged enough to withstand the grabby hands of a curious and active little one. Two faceted crystals meet atop the wrist.  They are connected to a gorgeous heavy brass chain.  The adjustable bracelet closes with a lobster clasp and is accented with a sparkling rhinestone ball.  Like all of the pieces designed for this collective, I think this bracelet would go with any outfit.  You can dress it up or down.  I'm hoping to get my hands on one of these lovelies!

This is Anu Raina's silk Hugs & Kisses Scarf.  Her designs for this collection were inspired by her own two kids.  Every kid enjoys lots of hugs and kisses from Mom!  Love the bright Spring colours of this hand drawn design.

Can't wait for the launch of an upcoming event!  If you follow us on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter, you may have heard me mention this!  We've had the pleasure of designing an exclusive collection for eBay Canada in celebration of Mother's Day!  Along with fashion designer Anu Raina, we have created a capsule collection that will be available for purchase only on eBay.  The pieces will be available from April 14th until Mother's Day on May 11th.  Here is a behind the scenes snapshot from our photo shoot.  I'll be sharing more photos in the next few days!  And, of course we'll post the link as soon as it is live!
