STUDIO SALE tomorrow!!

It's a snowy day here in Toronto.  I love a fresh fluffy snow, before it all turns to snirt from traffic and trampling.

Spending the afternoon doing some last preparations for tomorrow's Studio Sale!  Thought we'd preview some of the wares from the four of us participating.  Clockwise from top left, flip doll by Fidoodle, felted wool hat by Julie Sinden Handmade, Floral Bauble Necklace by MoonRox and table runner by Avril Loreti.  Something for everyone of all ages!  Looks like all of us have lined up some stellar deals!  For MoonRox, everything will be $50 and under with some items up to 90% off, so don't miss it!!  Stock up on jewels for a few bucks!  This never happens, so don't miss it!  Here's the flyer with all the deets!
And here is a selection of jewels coming to the sale!

INLAND Fall 2014

Now that I have a functioning computer again, I am slowly catching up on months and months of blogging.  It really should be a couple years of catch up but that old stuff is just a little too ancient news!  It's so refreshing to have a quick computer instead of staring at the ever frustrating spinning rainbow wheel that cripples my iMac!  So be prepared for some posts that don't reflect the freezing cold climate we are submerged in right now!

Way back on a sunny weekend in September 2014, we took part in a new show called INLAND that featured an amazing roster of fashion and accessories designers from across Canada.  It was at 99 Sudbury which is a lovely space. Here are some quick snaps!
Our friends Stacey and Karen of Dagg and Stacey clearly have spent over a decade as a design team and tight friends.  Matchy matchy!

Rear patio facing the train tracks.  Snuck a couple wee escapes out here on this gorgeous weekend.

INLAND is working on their next show this May.  Currently contemplating whether or not to add it to the schedule.  In any case, we will have to visit!

At the One of a Kind Show. Five more days!!

This year's One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale has been excellent so far!  It has been wonderful to connect with so many of our fabulous customers.  We are so lucky to have such a loyal and fantastic clientele.
Like this cute lady that chose three hair pins that co-ordinated so well with her outfit, I had to snap a pic.  Here are some other photos taken at the MoonRox booth these past 6 days!
and Chevron Necklace (currently only available at the OoaK Show.)
 Bracelets galore!
Gem Necklace, Chevron Necklace and Moonshadow Bracelet.

Stud options!  Chevron Necklace and Moonshadow Bracelet

Entwined Convertible Necklace all packed up!
Fireworks Necklace in Scarlet.
Cracker Necklace - the Saltine.  Seems to be unisex!
Fireworks Necklace in Lemon Yellow.

And Now for some non-MoonRox items both seen and coveted while walking about.
 Cutest bibs at Electrik Kidz.
Boiled wool head gear and accessories at Julie Sinden.  Everything I have gotten from Julie is so warm and has always made well received gifts.  Everyone needs a hat in this climate!
Cutest knitted kids' stuff from Vintage Baby Revival.
Drool worthy handbags from Hoi Bo.  Thought I wanted the pleated purse in the back, but now thinking I am in need of the mini in the front.
Stopped in a Bookhou.  Sister picked up a couple of lovely goodies.

Mehoi had some new and wondrous little cast brass work!  Will have to visit again for a proper catch up!
And here is Avril Loreti in her award winning new booth surrounded by her awesome wares!

Still have lots to see and some of my friends and favourites to visit!  But wanted to share this before the Show flew by.  We are already passed the halfway point!  Five more days to come see us at the One of a Kind Show!  The Show runs until Sunday, December 2nd.  Hope to see you!

Lunch with the Royals

Check out these most awesome Royal dolls that J.S. made for her niece!  She replicated the Queen, Wills and Kate in knitted goodness.  She captured every detail down to eye colour and earrings!  Too good!
She brought them out to lunch along with this vegetable.  Hilarious!  He's a celery stalk, but could just as easily pass for Chinese broccoli!

I was so impressed with these yarn creations especially since I am unable to follow instructions of any sort.  Think I am an intuitive learner...  and my knitting skills set consists of scarves and other rectangular items.

Love my creative friends!

Some fuzzy faves

I ventured out with a few friends for a bite and drinks, despite having far too much work I should have been doing. Perhaps attempting to do this two nights in a row is too much for me! This evening, we traipsed from establishment (too empty) to establishment (too crowded) to establishment (too loud) and then we felt really old and anti-social and decided to call it a night. So now I am at home and wide awake but I've decided it is far too late to start working on real work, so I have perused the net and found these fuzzy gems. Enjoy!

Now I am off to bed... Hope everyone is enjoying a nice weekend! I have 2 more real work days left to finalize all my show prep before I go to set up my booth! The countdown is on...
