A visit at Inspirations

KK and I visited the Inspirations Studio Sale a few days ago and picked up some sweet finds! Pictured above are a couple of the things that we got. Check out the delicious apple mug that went home with KK and one of the cards that we picked up. Love the dreamy quality of this cat card and I'm not even a cat lover. I got a few more cards that I think I will put into some of the white frames I grabbed a few weeks back... unless I give them away before they get the frame treatment. The work in the Studio has really progressed over the past few years. I am so impressed!

Knobby

I adopted my sister's old dressers this week. They were pine (veneer, I'm sure) with rather unexciting matching round knobs. I gave the dressers 3 laborious coats of oil paint and have been waiting for them to dry for days. In the meantime, I have been on the search for new knobs. I've been unsuccessful in the city so far, but have found many options online. These are my top picks from Anthroplogie. (Maybe I'll pop in the store today.) I am debating whether to pick up some of the above pretties... or to paint the existing knobs to transform them to something more fun... or get a glimmer-y vintage feel with a group of these...

Spring really IS coming... slowly... I have been spending the week doing some re-organizing of my work and regular life too. Felt secretly good to let go of the pliers and wire cutters for a few days! I've been catching up with some DIY projects around the house.
