New store: Heidi-Ho 2 at Hazelton Lanes!

This is not dêjà vu! Heidi-Ho 2 now has 2 locations! Earlier today I wrote about Heidi-Ho 2 on Yonge Street north of Eglinton. They recently opened a second location on the lower level of luxurious Hazelton Lanes in Yorkville. I went by for a visit today. It's the perfect place to pick up a cute little something before you pop into Whole Foods for your grocery shopping! Here are some photos of the crisp new store and the MoonRox stand filled with goodies at the cash desk. Now both locations are fully stocked with all sorts of Summer jewellery options. Congrats to Heidi on her burgeoning empire!

Heidi-Ho 2 (Yonge Street location) is re-stocked!

This is the first of two posts about Heidi-Ho 2. This is the Yonge Street location where the shop has been a neighbourhood staple for fashionable yet easy breezy duds and accessories for several years now. Heidi was one of my first supporters when I first started my business way back when, so it's always nice to visit with the Heidi-Ho 2 folks. I always think back to early in the millenium when I could not make enough Rox Chokers quickly enough to supply Heidi's customers! Can't believe how many years have flown by!
Here are some photos from my visit earlier this week to the store.
Lots of new MoonRox are in the store now! Loads of earrings, plenty of necklaces and a pile of hair pins to choose from! Visit the shop, if you please!

Shiny bridal necklace

Here are some images of a chunky necklace made for a beautiful bride to be. These pictures hardly convey how shiny and light-catching this piece is! I had a tough time getting a good photo! I used hundreds of Swarovski crystal beads to make this shimmery piece! I hope it goes just perfectly with her wedding day ensemble! I think I've said this before (and recently) but it's fun and inspiring to work on custom items, especially when using techniques that I don't use in the pieces I produce for the season.
So happy that this necklace will be part of the couple's special day!

Blue skies...

I'm exhausted after the weekend. My own fault for over-packing it, and then paying for it working until late last night. That's what weekends are for though!

We've had so much rain this Spring that it has been amazing to see some sunshine and blue skies. Seemed so novel that I had to take a picture of it! The bonus seems to be everything green is extra green with the added precipitation.

Looking forward to a very good week... Happy Monday!

Throws in colour

My friend KK enlisted me to help her and her husband to inject some colour into their recently renovated, and mostly white home. We decided to start with some throw cushions for their third floor den or secondary living space. We chose colours that reflected her Indian roots but didn't restrict ourselves when it came to selecting patterns.
I enjoyed making these comfy cushions and am pretty darned happy with how they turned out. Might have to make some new options for my own home. Really love the pom-pom trim! I splashed the pillows around my home to take these photos before handing them over to head to their real home. I hear they look great on their contemporary couch! Onto the next project! I have a big list of projects in my mind...
(I detest ironing -- don't mind the wrinkles!)

Have a great day! Where did May go? This long awaited drastically improved weather is so welcome, humidity and all! Makes it hard to concentrate on work though...
