Printed tea towels

I'm cross-eyed from number crunching... So, to wind down for the night, I did some online roaming and made a list of finds! I actually like doing dishes, especially as a way to warm up in the cold weather months. Weird, I know. Anyhow, here are some nice colourful hand printed tea towels to brighten up any kitchen!

Images from individual sellers' Etsy shops.

Happy Hallowe'en

Hope everyone had a fun weekend! A., S. and I were Three Blind Mice named C, Howie and Run. For some reason, when you have dark shades on indoors and cannot make eye contact with anyone, you can be a complete goof. This picture is way too hilarious! Saw lots of great costumes last night. Amazing how creative people can get!

Tomorrow is November already... So much work to do! Back to my bookkeeping...

Bridal jewels for S.!

Many weeks before her wedding, S. came to me with an inspiration photo and we went from there to create a pearl (faux but fabulous) and crystal necklace with co-ordinating earrings. I was super happy, and I think S. was too, with how they turned out. I had never made anything like either the necklace or the earrings so it was great to experiment with new techniques. Then I made a lighter version of the set in purple-y silver for her dear sister to wear on the special day. I'm thinking I will add some variations of these styles to the MoonRox collection!

Hallowe'en...

Hallowe'en is a couple days away and I have yet to dream up a costume. I spotted Clementine and Booh all dressed up on the Monster Factory Blog. Too funny in their ghost costumes trolling the scary streets!
