Beautiful bon bons that I could barely bring myself to stop looking at to finally bite into.

Freezing rain is horrible to walk around it. One lady wiped out right next to me and as I held her up, another man bailed right next to us. Cold icy rain pelting you in the face is not fun, but the sparkling coating of ice on everything was stunning.

Time to get back to work on some new ideas now. I'm always seeing inspiring colours, patterns and sights everywhere!

Goodbye 2016! Hello 2017!

On this first day of a new year, I'd like to thank everyone for all the support. So happy to be able to make and share a few pretty things with you. Thank you! THANK YOU! You guys are the best!

2016 was a year that was filled with a lot of let down the world over, so many of us seemed to wrap up the year by saying goodbye and good riddance to such a year. Personally I had so many great experiences last year. Spent quality time with family and close friends, got to know some amazing new people, had a few bursts of creativity, learned some new skills, traveled to beautiful places, ate some delicious meals. I'm so lucky to have had all this, yet as we welcome 2017, I still had to remind myself of a few things. Be kind, be respectful, be grateful, give time to those that deserve it, be willing to listen, constantly learn more, and always fight for the things we believe in. (Lots of clichés, but all things I have to tell myself from time to time.)

2017 will be amazing! I just know it! Wishing you all a very happy, healthy new year filled with all good things! 💛

Reign Bracelet

These are one of my favourites of the season!  The Reign Bracelet comes in Lilac and Shadow and it's hard to choose which colour is my top pick.  These beads are solid glass with a matte mottled finish.  They almost seem to glow when the light hits them just right!

Sylvie and Shimmy

 

These are some snapshots taken on our last couple visits to Parkdale boutique Sylvie and Shimmy.  Owners Caroline and Shim are some of the nicest people ever, and they will help you pick out some cute threads and charming accessories!  The store is filled with cheerful and well-priced clothing, loads of jewellery and accessories, and some giftware and home decor.  One of our favourite picks is the delicious soy candles from La Vela Bella.  Obsessed with the lemon scent!

April has been busy and fun, but I'm hoping the weather will improve and that we'll have warmer days soon enough!  Can hardly believe it will be May tomorrow.  There are 11 Days left to get your hands on the eBay Mother's day Collective!  The auction for the special one of a kind necklace will begin on May 4th.  Pretty excited for the opportunity to raise some funds for Inspirations Studio.  I'll fill you in on details soon.  Think we will also introduce a little treat on our own site tomorrow.  Lots of goodness coming up!  Will keep you posted!

Spring forward

Hi there!  I've got to say I have enjoyed the return to more frequent blogging!  In our modern world, with our super short attention spans, I forgot how fun it can be to string some full sentences together!  Love sharing little bits of my life and work with you.  I'm going to try to keep up with it!  Been soaking up the longer days (especially with the changing of our clocks the other day) and really can't wait for Spring to come!  We still have frigid temps here in Toronto, but in the land of MoonRox, we are fully in a bright and light Spring mood!

In and around town

Just got in from a night time bike ride along the waterfront and feeling wide awake.  Perfect time to catch up on a little blogging.  I snap so many photos, so here is a little of this and a little of that!

Been super indulgent lately.  Lots of celebrations and outings, plus plenty of spontaneous get togethers, so it's been nice to get out on quiet evening walks and bike rides.  This is my favourite time of year.  Wish I could keep Spring all year 'round!  Hope you have been enjoying Spring too!
