Monsoon Monday

That was a wild storm that hit Toronto.  I snapped this photo with my phone moments before the skies opened up and poured record amounts down on us.  Ominous clouds cast a huge grey shadow across the sky and wiped out almost all trace of colour.  Mother Nature was not happy.  I might be imagining things, but above the CN Tower, I can almost see a face with cheeks puffed and lips pursed, about to blast 126mm of rain upon Toronto, a record in one day.  Much is to be cleaned up, but glad to hear that most weathered the storm safely.

(Some pics compiled by BlogTO and the Globe and Mail.)
