Hallowe'en

Happy Hallowe'en! Here's a pic from the endless sea of orange at the pumpkin patch.

Still need to DIY a costume before evening... Hope you have a fun and safe celebration.

Rock Bracelet and Movement Necklace

This weekend was filled with cozy meals, disappointing baseball results, ticking things off the seemingly endless to do list and long city walks kicking around the Autumn leaves. Ending the weekend by making some Rock Bracelets. Here the Bracelet is paired with the Small Movement Necklace. Both showcase some pretty chunks of pyrite. For more details, visit the website at www.moonrox.ca.

Gearing up for a busy week! Hard to believe that the One of a Kind Show is only a month away! Lots of work to do... Don't forget the coupon code ASDxryy2 to save on show tickets! See more here.

Hope you have a great week!

Aspect Series

Made with vintage plastic links, brass details with a touch a wood too! Found a a small amount of these great plastic links so these pieces will be limited in numbers. The pieces are bold but sit comfortably and make enough of a statement to compete with our scarves and layers we have piled on at this time of year!

For more on these pieces, visit our website at www.moonrox.ca.  Also keep your eye on the site for the second release of Fall/Winter 2015 to go live tomorrow!

Go Jays Go!!

Currently, I am half working on web updates and half watching our Toronto Blue Jays in playoff ball! I was the hugest fan as kid until I went to New York for fashion school and didn't have as much access. Wasn't able to have the game on the radio in one ear while at the ballpark or watching on tv for every single game of the season. We used to vacation at Spring training in Dunedin. My sister and I have boxes and boxes of souvenirs and paraphernalia, much of it autographed by the 80's and 90's team members. I remember euphorically celebrating both World Series wins in '92 and '93 in the streets. We were obsessed!  So I am super thrilled as most Torontonians are to see our Jays return to the post season after so many years.

Yesterday was Aunt L.'s birthday. She always takes her birthday off of work every year. So a few hours before the game, she suggested that we try to get some tickets to Game 1 of the ALDS. Such a great environment in the dome, even way up in the last row of the 500s. Cheers were deafening and the sold-out crowd was energized. Loved watching them raise the American League East Champions banner!

Jays took a loss yesterday.  Crossing our fingers, along with the rest of the sea of blue in this town, for a healthy comeback in the remainder of the series! GO JAYS GO!!
