Moonshadow series

This grouping of jewels has been one of my all time favourite MoonRox designs.  I kind of want one  of each in every colour!  I love these bold, shiny, chunky, colourul pieces.  Love wearing them with the coziest old tee, to the glitziest of dresses.  Here are some photos of the Moonshadow Bracelet, Moonshadow Necklace and Moonshadow Pendant.  For more details, visit the website!

Crafting a wacky phone case

This was way easy and oh so much fun to do. I adhered loads of bits and bobs and googly eyes to a phone case with super strength and flexible glue.  It pretty much weighs a ton, but  I love the weirdness of this. The next one may be more orderly or maybe I'll do one with just eyes!

All stocked up at Frock

I got a chance to visit Frock on Roncesvalles to bring them a load of new jewels.
The store was bustling and full of all your needs for Summer. Here is owner Cathryn's pick of the day - a spicy little swimsuit.
Visit them and check out the fresh crop of jewels! Plenty of new earrings are in including the Nugget, Fluid, Arrowhead and Stalactite Earrings.

Visit them and check 'em out!

Lobster Fest, 2013

Headed up north to Collingwood for the weekend a few weeks ago.
Got to relax in town and made the mistake of eating too much before catching our yellow school bus to Thornbury for Lobster Fest.
An arena full of happy lobster eating folk!
We each gobbled up two whole lobsters, three types of salad, a baked potato and a roll... and imbibed a plenty!
Little bit wrong, but had to do the nails up appropriately, of course.  We named him Percy.
Was a good time with great friends!  Thanks to the C. sisters for hosting the group of us.

City mouse, country mouse

These are photos from the Victoria Day long weekend.  Already seems so long ago...
Didn't plan a getaway, but some friends and I wanted to take advantage of the holiday to escape the city. Turned out to be a lovely weekend, with parts spent in Toronto and parts not.
Toronto: yarn shopping at Romni Wools
Toronto: city strolls and a little store visit at Bookhou
Toronto: A.'s late night berry topped crêpes
Hamilton: fish and chips pit stop at Hutch's
Niagara-on-the-Lake:  wine tasting at Jackson Triggs
Bloomfield:  strolling Main Street
Picton:  relaxing at the beach at the Sandbanks
Toronto:  chilling in the park and leisurely bike rides
Toronto:  Victoria Day fireworks
