I enjoyed a nice weekend in the sun. And you? Here's a picture from a Friday afternoon visit to Sugar Beach. So nice to sit and enjoy the amazing weather and views of the sparkling water for a while.

Pom-poms galore!

I have a thing for pom-poms... I think it's the nostalgia of making them as a wee one. I love these delightful garlands from pics accompanying the full instructions from Honestly WTF. My Sis was clearing out a load of yarn the other day, and the crafty lady in me could not resist, so this might be the perfect project for said load.

I have been enjoying taping all sorts of things with my Japanese masking tape. I've wrapped packages, made cards, taped things for no good reason... why not!?

Wood and Wool Blanket

I'm not sure why I have been drawn to cosy blankets lately. Perhaps it is my lack of sleep that is leading to my desire to be curled up with a nice blanket, having a snooze. It has been a super hectic week. I can't believe it is Friday already!

I love the all colours and the obvious handmade quality of these blankets by Wood and Wool. So charming!

Wooly Wood

Strange how you still get that 'back to school' feeling as soon as a hint of a chill creeps into the air and the days get shorter and shorter. I haven't been in school in a million years. I'm still savouring the warm Summer nights, but this Wooly Wood Large Throw blanket by Donna Wilson is looking awfully cosy. I've also fancied this scarf before. Rogers Cup

Or Roger's Cup? Went to see the evening session of the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup yesterday! The Federer/Berdych match was electric! People were jumping out of their seats.
Also caught Djokovic vs. Chardy. Such a treat to see these talented palyers play live.

Hope everyone had a nice long weekend. I was working for a good chunk of it, but squeezed in some fun. I can't believe it is August already! Fall is already here in the retail world.
