Unofficial end of Summer

 

These are photos from a day of fun with friends last week.  A healthy lunch, an island beach day, followed by a return to the Ex in the evening.  We had to go back to soak up some of the delightful gaudiness and of course visit our alpaca friends.  Want one.  Too cute. 

Now the Labour Day weekend has come and gone far too quickly.  Today was filled with sounds of the Labour Day Parade and the buzz of the air show.  I spent the day with friends -- relaxing in the park and dining after a two day whirlwind Ottawa visit.  Ottawa pics will have to be another post...
