DIY: Ball Chain Bangle

I had the opportunity to put together a DIY for the One of a Kind Show Blog.  I worked on some Ball Chain Bangles perfect to freshen up your Spring wardrobe.  These pics are just some highlights! For the step-by-step do-it-yourself details, hop over the the OoaK blog here.  Had so much fun making these and kept making more and more!  Hope you will try your hand at it.  You can really vary the sizes, shapes of the materials and types of ribbons for a ton of different looks.  Have fun!

Sunny jewellery-filled Saturday

I had a wonderful Saturday enjoying being outdoors on a gorgeous day.  Didn't feel like work at all!  Cynthia from Togo Jewellery and I had such a nice time selling our wares, chit-chatting and running into lots of familiar people.  I have adored the beautiful resin jewellery from Togo for a good decade and have acquired quite the collection over the years.  I love mixing some Togo with some Bakelite pieces with some MoonRox, of course... and now I'm so excited to have added a few more awesome bracelets to my stash!  Took lots of pics of the riot of colours that we surrounded ourselves with yesterday.  Insta-cheery-mood!

Bridal jewels for J.

I was delighted to have the opportunity to custom design the jewellery worn by J. and her bridesmaids for the wedding this past Saturday. It was refreshing to work on something different than the items that I have been making day-to-day for production. I had not worked in sterling silver for some time and also re-awakened my interest in wire work. As always with custom work, it's an extra challenge to make things that have been discussed and conceived, but really the two of us could have had entirely different visions. I was so happy to see that J. was pleased with the results. They looked even better when put together with her gown and all the bridal trimmings! I think they suited J. and the 'maids perfectly!
