New Collection for Spring/Summer 2019

We debuted our Spring/Summer 2019 Collection a few weeks ago at the Show and now all of the new pieces are available online! Check out the website for all the new arrivals! Let me know what you think!

The first piece to show off is the Incandescence Necklace. It is made with the most incredible vintage glass beads from Japan. They are the perfect iridescent shade of champagne bubbles and draped over brass chain fringe! 

As I was lucky enough to receive these beautiful beads as a gift, I wanted to pay it forward. 20% of sales from this item will be donated to charity. For more details, view the Incandescence Necklace on the website!

Bracelet of Hope Silent Auction

This is a special piece that was made for Bracelet of Hope, an organization aiming to help end the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Lesotho. Bracelet of Hope sent me a selection of these colourful wooden and fabric beads. They are handmade by HIV+ women in Lesotho. I had fun playing around with them and creating this piece with a signature MoonRox twist. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and hope that it will be well received.

It will be available for you to bid on at their silent auction tomorrow at the Women to Women event at Apartment 58 in Guelph, Ontario.

Corsage Project Boutique Ball 2015

So happy to be able to donate some jewellery to The Corsage Project this year!  They help girls in the greater Toronto area who are having difficulty affording the expenses associated with attending their prom.  Prom is a rite of passage that every willing teen should get to enjoy!

Every year the Corsage Project has a team of stylists to help the girls "shop" the free formal wear that has been donated!  So pleased to add some MoonRox to that selection.  We donated these pretty floral earrings and much more!

Wishing the girls a glamorous and fun day at the ball!

Canadian Feed the Children

I was happy to be asked to support Canadian Feed the Children. They are hosting an event at the Bata Shoe Museum on June 8th primarily to thank their volunteers and donors. I have donated a few items including the Feathered Hair Clip pictured below to their International Marketplace. To find out more about Canadian Feed the Children, visit their website here.

The post-earthquake situation in Haiti is so heartbreaking. It's difficult to see the devastation from the comfort of our homes and not feel guilty and so helpless. The CBC has put together a site dedicated to Haiti relief complete with a list of help organizations to donate to. I'm going to donate now... Check out the site HERE.
