Bridal jewels n' donuts with Mrs. P!

The newly married Mrs. P. asked me to incorporate a pretty family heirloom brooch in a bridal head piece. We chose some lovely accent colours to match her teal shoes that were a particular colour that somehow made me think of that indescribable sheen of a peacock feather. I think it worked out quite well!
We also decided on these simple and elegant earrings to go with. I hope the newlyweds are enjoying their honeymoon right now -- I am sure they are!

On a side note, we met at Little Nicky's so I could present her with her new accessories. They have the most scrumptious homemade mini donuts. We thought they had the perfect mix of cinnamon and sugar.
I quite like their vintage decor and their americanos too!
There goes another work week! Well, not exactly... with the One of a Kind Show next week, or in a few days really, I plan on working a fair bit this weekend. Sometimes I don't mind when I'm in a good groove, so I had better get back to it while I'm in that state! Wishing everyone a happy weekend!

Canadian Feed the Children

I was happy to be asked to support Canadian Feed the Children. They are hosting an event at the Bata Shoe Museum on June 8th primarily to thank their volunteers and donors. I have donated a few items including the Feathered Hair Clip pictured below to their International Marketplace. To find out more about Canadian Feed the Children, visit their website here.
Speaking of Feathered Hair Pieces, I am hoping to add some more to the Shop in the next few days. Keep an eye out!

3 days remaining at the One of a Kind Show!

Here are some shots taken at my booth! There are some lovely new pieces for Spring! Come by and see us at booth Q-24 at the One of a Kind! The first two days have flown by! So nice to see some regular customers and see what's new. Oh! And I saw Rachel McAdams walking through the show!

It's late and I am now super tired with sore feet. Good Friday should be a busy day. Off to get some much needed rest!

For details and a coupon code, have a gander at this post.

Frockstar on facebook

I received a Google alert and came across the Frockstar store's Facebook page. This is a lovely layout of wares in the shop from Fall. The MoonRox Envelope Necklace and Feathered hair pieces looks fab! And, I do enjoy that Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm.

Silent Auctions

Recently I sent off a few product donations to silent auctions for a couple charitable events. Both events are on May 28, 2009.

I sent a really nice Treasure Bracelet in pink to Imagine a Cure for Leukemia.  For more info or to buy tickets for the event, click here. Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door.

And pictured at the top of this post is a Feathered Hair Clip that I sent to Funny Girls and Dynamic Divas, a fundraising event presented by Sistering. I also sent them a pair of Filigree Earrings to match. To buy tickets for the event, click here.  Tickets are $75.
