Hong Kong, part II

It's been a busy Summer and now as I browse these pictures, my memories of these experiences have already dimmed!  Glad I took so many photos!  Sorry for the delay in posting these.  Here are the photos from the second part of my Hong Kong travels.

Favourite meal.  A simple and delicious bowl of lai fun with char siu (noodle soup with barbecue pork) at Tsui Hang Village.  Yum yum yum... could eat this now.

A three week trip was over before I knew it.  I didn't have any jet lag upon my return to Toronto, but it took me weeks to recover from the over eating and intense family time!  Now as I write this a couple months after the trip, I have witnessed a few more friends lose some very close loved ones. Reminds me how lucky I am to have two healthy parents that love to sidekick with me!  I am so  grateful to have been able to spend some quality time with fam especially in such exotic places!

Hi guys!  Sorry for the absence! I've been busy traveling and enjoying the Spring and these first couple days of Summer.  I plan to share some photos in the next few days.  In the meantime, look at this cute pup!  Took a lovely long walk with KK and her big happy poodle yesterday.

Cherry Blossoms 2015

Not sure if I will get a chance to see the cherry blossoms in High Park this year.  I did pass by the trees in bloom at Robarts Library on the U of T campus the other day.  Here are some of photos.  As I said in the last post, I love Spring and everything about it.  So thanks for indulging me and my many flower photos on this blog!

This is the 3rd year that I have caught these trees in bloom.  They have grown so much in that time.  I think cherry blossoms take me back to our first childhood home that had two big trees in the front yard.  I can still picture the loveliest shade of pink (darker than these ones here) and feel the soft velvety petals between my fingers.

Oh, and by the way... I have been on a lucky streak of good karma over that past couple weeks, so I wanted to share some of the good vibes!  Stay tuned for a fun giveaway this week.
