Hammer-time

A couple weeks ago I went to meet with Ashley of Teeny Weeny Bikini Co.  It's her off season, so the shop is closed and she is working in her studio.  After my usual getting lost the second I leave the downtown core of Toronto (sorry again Ashley), we met up at her nice bright new studio in Hamilton and did a little wander and lunch.

and even cracked up old mosaic floors.

Ashley took me to some of the great little shops around town.  We stopped in at White Elephant and O's Clothes amongst some other sweet independent outlets.  Part of me is tempted to move somewhere,  find a lovely old century home to inhabit and have a fresh start.  I'd get a huge studio and perhaps even a shop.  Just a thought or a simple day dream...  Or maybe I'm being crazy...

It was a nice little outing for a brief afternoon.

And then I rolled out, back to Toronto.

This weekend will be a busy one...  It's the last weekend before the One of a Kind Show so there is a lot of final preparations happening.  I've picked up new signage, new cards, new tags, new stickers and am excited to show off some new jewels!  Don't forget to check out the MoonRox Facebook page to enter to win some free tickets to the show!  There are four pairs, yes 4, available to win!  The contest closes on Monday at noon.

Trunk Show at TWB Co.

Last weekend I zoomed out to Rosseau for a Trunk Show hosted by Teeny Weeny Bikini Co.  Had the greatest time!  The shop is the cutest ever!  I loved chatting with owner and talented swimwear designer Ashley and discovering how much we have in common.  The family was super lovely and kind enough to have me stay, so not only did we have fun selling jewellery, I also got to have a little getaway!  Such a nice treat!

Day two!  TWB Co. is like a treasure trove.  Every time I walked around, I found something new to look at.  Lots of great clothes and of course Ashley's swimwear interspersed with oodles of accessories (including MoonRox) and amazing vintage finds.

Loved the family cottage that is over 100 years old!  Thanks to the Eady family for having me!

Trunk sale

Summer's on at Teeny Weeny Bikini Co.

The May long weekend has come and gone, and this means Teeny Weeny Bikini Co. is open for the season!! The cute shop is open until Thanksgiving and I am definitely planning a visit at some point this Summer!   TWB Co. is located in in the small town of Rosseau Muskoka and houses a variety vintage treasures mingled with an array of Canadian focused lines including owner Ashley Eady's swimwear line Teeny Weeny Bikini.  TWB Co. is a perfect stop to find something fun when up at the cottage!  You'll find a great selection of MoonRox in store now!  It's super warm here in Ontario today.  Looks like a good cottage weekend for those lucky enough to get away!  Happy weekend!

MoonRox at Teeny Weeny Bikini Co.

Now that the May long weekend has come and gone, cottage season is officially in effect. You can find MoonRox jewellery at seasonal store, Teeny Weeny Bikini Co. in Rosseau. They picked up a nice grouping to add to the store filled with owner and designer Ashley Eady's line of swimwear, hence the name of the store, some choice Canadian design and carefully selected vintage finds.

How cu-ute is this shop? A couple years ago, they expanded from a truly weeny version to the one that stands today. I enjoyed checking out the pics from years past.

What a fun place to poke around on a lazy Summer day... They are open as of last weekend until Thanksgiving on Saturdays and Sundays. As of July, they'll be open 7 days a week!
