Sweetheart Necklace

Every once in a while, I come across some vintage pieces that I just cannot leave behind. Sometimes they just seem like something I know our customers would like. When I found a few of these Sweetheart Necklaces, I knew I had to share them with you. The Sweetheart Necklace features a simple 3-dimensional floating heart pendant on an elegant brass chain. The necklace is made of raw brass that shows some beautiful patina given to them from years gone by. I love the warm tone of brass. It's golden and shiny without being gaudy.

Arc Ring

My love of brass is broad. Been working almost exclusively in brass the past few years. Also loving all the home decor in brass that is in vogue right now. Been sharing all kinds of colourful things combined with brass over on Pinterest. And a whole lot of other stuff too.  

Love the warmth of brass and how it looks amazing paired with pretty much any colour! Check out how great simple brass rings are with all of these nail lacquers! Antiquing at Aberfoyle

Love seeing collections of things.  Things of days gone by are even better!  Here are some snapshots from a day trip to Aberfoyle Antique Market a couple weekends ago.  It was one of the first sunny Spring days where you could forego a jacket, so we enjoyed our outing that much more.  Hope to return this Summer for another treasure hunt.

April has been busy and fun, but I'm hoping the weather will improve and that we'll have warmer days soon enough!  Can hardly believe it will be May tomorrow.  There are 11 Days left to get your hands on the eBay Mother's day Collective!  The auction for the special one of a kind necklace will begin on May 4th.  Pretty excited for the opportunity to raise some funds for Inspirations Studio.  I'll fill you in on details soon.  Think we will also introduce a little treat on our own site tomorrow.  Lots of goodness coming up!  Will keep you posted!
