Cardied
Like this look from Club Monaco's latest lookbook. Love the mix of grey tones plus a little sparkle... and I am a definite proponent of wearing a scarf and grey cardigan with absolutely anything!

For the road...
Spotted these sweet as pie Eco Tea Cups on the Front & Company blog. I think I am favouring the cup on the right. I have probably mentioned this before, or if you know me, I am sure you know this, but I am completely obsessed with my teas... and beverages in general. So, I like to have a few different drinking vessels to choose from.
B. got me some of these Contigo vacuum sealed travel mugs, which I have been toting around. They are great as they are spill-proof. I have dumped a water or two in my handbag before, so a damaged phone, iPod and totally fried camera later, I have learned my lesson. ( I also keep my camera in a ziploc bag now. Better safe than sorry!)I have also been contemplating a Keep Cup that I can dedicate to coffee. Love that you can pick and choose your colours for the components. Plus it's barista standard in sizing.
Off to make a pot of tea!

Holidaying and Celebrating
Toes that match a Christmas cactus! How does the plant know exactly when to bloom?
I was well behaved and didn't buy a thing on Boxing Day. Roamed around in the mobs of people with the family and J.Mo too. Other than that, I have spent the past few days chilling out at my parents' place, eating treats, watching movies and painting toes.
Today is my Grandmother's 97th birthday! Pretty amazing! We had a nice celebration! Mmm... I am still savouring the delicious lobster.

Merry merry!
Enjoyed a nice Christmas with the family. Ate plenty, relaxed a lot... and caught up on sleep. Not a bad holiday!
Over the past couple years, I've collected these ornaments from the nice people at Sea Spirits at the One of a Kind Show. The more you look at how wacky and cute these are, the more you love them all. Can't see them in the picture, but I have a rhino and a horse too.

Well, better catch some Zzz's so I can be fresh for Boxing Day shopping. Not that I need anything...
Hope you all had a Christmas full of merry and delight!

Happy Holeeeedays!
Here are random Holiday themed pics snapped around town lately. 1. vibrant display at Holt's, 2. paper garland at City of Craft, 3. gifts from A. wrapped in cute Ikea paper and 4. the sparkling Swarovski tree at the Eaton Centre.
Looks like I'm done with work for now. Looking forward to enjoying a nice break. I am dedicating tomorrow to my last minute gift crafting frenzy. I am someone that needs a deadline. I haven't done well in the stores as I have one of those annoying "I can make that..." attitudes.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday!

In the city
Got a chance to visit City of Craft on Saturday with A. It's so nice to be on the other side of of the table. The show has a lively vibe and a nicely curated selection of artisans. I really enjoyed it. A few of my faves were...
the ceramics of rcboisjoli,
the terrariums (and mushroom baby rattles) of Holly Procktor,
the slick prints by Doublenaut
and more!
We followed our crafty outing with brunch at the Drake... fried chicken on waffles! So good.

One week left...
Love this little dotted tree seen on the blog of Karen Barbé, found via decor8.
One week until Christmas... I am not doing well on the gift front. Have only got 2.5 gifts sorted... not good... not good. I have some nice creative ideas in mind. Now to find the time to execute these ideas. Hope everyone is enjoying a nice weekend!

Glitter!
Yesterday I saw Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the Musical with G. & N. and fam. It was such a fun and vibrant show! I was fascinated by the quick make-up and set changes involving mass amounts of glitter. Now I have a huge urge to glitter everything. Here are a few nice shimmery images I found on flickr.

I think my Holiday Season whirlwind is slowly calming down. Today was the first day in ages that I did not make a single piece of jewellery. A few more things to catch up with and I hope to enjoy a day off soon! Plus I really need to get on the gift getting and creating. Might have to get some glitter involved in the creating part!

Sweet!
I know I recently posted about printed tea towels, but this one from Solitaire is pretty darned cute. Quite enjoy the chocolate mint combo! And their place mats are quite charming too!

This week floated by in a post Show haze... I have been trying to catch up with things. Mundane normal ol' things like grocery shopping. Think I have almost all the custom orders from the OoaK in the mail as of today. There are a few still remaining on the list and if one of those is you, I have not forgotten! Many of the shops will be re-stocked of MoonRox as of early next week. Also caught up with a few friends and fam. Played hooky yesterday afternoon and went shopping with A. and S., but only came back with things for me! Bad... I had a moment where I saw red and green things everywhere and honestly wondered why they were all still out with Christmas being over and all. Then I realized that my brain is scrambled and to me the craze of Christmas is over, but it is really still a couple weeks away. Hope I'm not losing it...
Anyhow, enough rambling! Hope everyone enjoys a lovely weekend!

Scarf weather...
... and hat and glove weather too. It's turned chilly here in the past week or so. I love this scarf from We Are Owls.

Terrarium ornament
Saw this unbearably cute terrarium ornament kit on the Ladies and Gentlemen Blog. Wish I could jaunt on down to Seattle and pick one up from the maker!
Thank you!
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out to the One of a Kind Show. I so appreciate the friendliness and enthusiastic support of all who came to shop or just to say hello. I am also so grateful for all of my friends and family and kind booth neighbours who pitched in to make the whole thing go smoothly! Eleven days (long ones) in an exhibit hall can make one a little loopy! So, thank you, thank you, thank you. Here are some photos taken over the past couple weeks at the MoonRox booth!
Little P. in a Feather Head Band
Jewels on display.
The Loop Pearl Necklace.
Scribble Cuffs.
"I love you" Token Necklace.
Lots of Stud Earrings.
The Dainty Bow Necklace.
Mobs at the booth!
It was a great Show! I'm already thinking of ideas for Spring!
Today I was completely exhausted and spent the morning with my feet up... literally. Check out my cute Jazzy Sox by Meaford Wool. I picked them up in the last hour at the Show... I'm hoping they will be perfect to keep the tootsies warm in my wellies!
Then I got to work ploughing through hundreds of unread/unanswered emails, making custom orders, catching up with stores that need to be re-stocked and making my way through huge piles of neglected laundry! Another busy week has begun!
Ok... back to my late night work before I retire for the day... Goodnight!
