On Saturday, Geekigirl and I took in the sights and sounds of Opera Atelier's La Clemeza di Tito. The performers, including talented Canadian soprano Measha Brueggergosman were amazing, the costumes lovely and the set simple and beautiful. Nice to sneak away from the pace of modern day Toronto to Rome, centuries ago. I had forgotten how stunning the Elgin Theatre is. Such a gem. Just a couple more performances left until the run is over on May 1. Catch it if you have a chance. This layperson thoroughly enjoyed!

Evening at the opera...
